The Lomahasha Central Primary team in their SOSIRBKitaid Rugby jerseysThe Swaziland Rugby Union Dvelopment Coaches paid a visit to Lomahasha Central Primary today to present the players who played in the Kudu's Rugby Club Inter Schools Tag Tournament.  Lomahasha Central Primary were the victors at the tournament and therefore won a full set of Rugby kit for each player.

The girls on the attackPrestige Phalani High School in Mahlanya held a Tag Rugby Day at the Mahlanya Sports Ground yesterday.  Both boys and girls took part in the session organised by the Rugby Develpment Coaches.  Both the head teacher, Mr. Dlamini and sports teacher, Mr. Ncobe turned out to watch the traning session.

DlaminiThe Ezulwini Community Primary today became the latest school to join the Rugby Development Programme.  Development Coach, Naomi du Pont visited the school to welcome Mrs. Dlamini and Ezulwini Community School into the Rugby Development Programme and hand over Rugby balls to kick start Rugby at the school.

Players at the Kudu's Rugby club Tag Rugby DayThe Kudu's Rugby Club held a Tag Rugby Coaching Day at the Nokwane Primary sports ground in the Lowveld.  The coaching session was for schools in the Mhlume area who are afilliated to the Kudu's Rugby Club.

U/19's Elite Squad in action at St Michael's sports ground in ManziniThe U/19's Elite Squad training moved to the St Michael's High School sports ground in Manzini on Saturday.  Rugby Union President, Michael Collinson welcomed the players to the sesion and thanked them for their commitment.  "The aim of the Swaziland Rugby Union is to eventually have a forty man U/19's Elite Squad."

Matthew and Naomi with a few of the new Rugby ballsThe Rugby Union took delivery of one hundred and fifty Rugby balls today.  The balls were donated to the Swaziland Rugby Union by the International Rugby Board to help with Rugby development within the Kingdom.

The Kudu's Rugby Club held the Inter Primary Schools Rugby tournament at the Mhlume High school ground on Friday.  Lomahasha Central, Ekuhlamkeni and Vuvulane Primary were the three participating schools.

Saturday June 5th will see the U/19's Elite squad attend a training session at St Michael's High School ground in Manzini.  Following the training session the squad will play a game against a President's Select side.  This is part of the ongoing preparations for the up and coming games against two UK visiting sides to be played in July.

Naomi with a young Rugby playerThe Swaziland Rugby Union joined the Shukuma Project on Saturday at their sports day in Matsapha.  Development Coaches Naomi du Pont and Matthew du Pont conducted coaching sessions for the people attending the sports day.
