The RangersFriday afternoon saw the first clash between new boys The Rangers from the diamond mining town of Dvokolwako and the Elephants from Luve. The game took place at the Emcozini Sports ground home of the Elephants. The Rangers joined the Swazi Rugby family in August and had their first taste of Rugby playing in the Adult Tag Tournament played earlier in September. Friday was their first outing at fifteens.
Rugby Union announce date for Club Tag Rugby Tournament

Rugby Union Vice President Sibusiso Nkambule made the announcement at the Rugby Union's offices yesterday. "We want to encourage adults to play the game of Rugby and by using Tag Rugby we can introduce players to the game who are not ready for full contact. The interest has been amazing and ten clubs have confirmed their participation in the tournament" said Nkambule.

Try time at Bhunya PrimaryThe Wolves Rugby club from Bhunya held a contact Rugby session for two schools playing in the Attie Lombard Rugby Tournament. Bhunya Primary and Osuthu Methodist Primary hosted the Rugby Union development coaches on Monday. Bhunya Primary held their contact session at the Bhunya Sports Stadium whilst Osuthu held their sesion at the Osuthu High School sports ground.
Scorpions Rugby Club hold contact coaching session for U/12's

The two schools who took part in the contact coaching day were Sibovu Nazarene and Mabamba Primary.

Ekutsimuleni boys going through the tackle drillsThe Elephants Rugby Club held a contact coaching session for U/12's players from Lutfotja and Ekutsimuleni Primary schools at the Lamawandla High Schools ground. The session is part of the Elephants Rugby Club preparations for the up and coming Rugby tournament to select a school to represent Swaziland in the Caldy Touraid Rugby Tournament to be played in the UK during September.

The tournament featured both boys and girls at U/16's, U/14's and U/12's level. Elephants Rugby Club Chairman, Moscow Dlamini and the Elephants Rugby Club committee were at the tournament to cheer on the participating schools.
