A Mahlanya player on the break during the final against St Andrew'sThe Vondo's Rugby Club situated in Malkerns held their U/12's Inter Schools Tag Rugby Tournament on Thursday at the Princess Pholile Sports Ground.  The five schools participating in the tournament were, Mahlanya, Khalangile, St Andrews, Mangwayane and Mphetseni Primary's.

Elephants going for the try against the Vondo'sSaturday saw the Swaziland Rugby Union's U/19's Club league kick off at the Emcozini Sports ground just outside of the town of Luve.  The three Clubs taking part in this the first league fixtures of 2010 were, The Elephants, Lion's and Vondo's.  SRU President, Michael Collinson was on hand to welcome the three Clubs and wished them all good luck in the league.

The Swaziland Rugby Union today announced the plans for the first Club Rugby League within the Kingdom.  Vice President, Sibusiso Nkambule made the announcement today.  "At this moment in time we have five Rugby Clubs who have expressed an interest in the new Club Rugby League structure.  These Clubs are, Ngwenya, Titans, Rhino's, Eagles and the Vondo's."

The last Rugby game of 2009 took place in Nhlangano last week.  The Scorpions Rugby Club Teachers side from Nhlangano took on the Vondo's Rugby Club Teachers side from Malkerns.  The game was played at the SOS Childrens Village sports field.

The Kudu's with their SOSIRBKitaidThe Vondo's in their SOSIRBKitaidThe two teams who battled it out in the final of the Teachers Inter Club Rugby Tournament were given Rugby kit donated by the SOSIRBKitaid programme.  The two teams received tracksuit tops and jackets at the close of the tournament played on Friday. 

Vondo's scoring the winning tryThe Teachers team from the Vondo's Rugby Club lifted the winners trophy at the Teachers Inter Club Rugby Tournament held at the Vondo's ground in Malkerns.  The tournament was the first of its kind and following on from the final, Rugby Union President, Michael Collinson said he was delighted with the turn out and how well the teachers played. 

Lutfotja Boys on the attack against EkutsimuleniThe Elephants Rugby Club held their second Inter Schools Rugby Tournament this year at the Emcozini Sports field just outside Luve.  Elephants Rugby Club President, Moscow Dlamini said "I'm a happy and proud man to be able to welcome you all here to the second Elephants Rugby Club Inter Schools Tournament to be held in 2009. 

The back of the Eagles jersey showing support for the SKRUM ProgrammeSibusiso Nkambule with Malindi DlaminiThe newly formed Eagles Rugby Club today recieved Rugby jerseys from the Swaziland Rugby Union.  The donated kit was part of the latest delivery from SOSIRBKitaid.  On hand to take delivery of the jerseys was Eagles Coach Malindi Dlamini.  The Rugby jerseys were presented to the Eagles by Rugby Union Vice President, Sibusiso Nkambule.

Eagles Rugby Football ClubRugby Union Vice President, Mr. Sibusiso Nkambule announced today the forming of a new Rugby Club in the countries capital Mbabane.  The announcement was made at the Rugby Union offices in Malkerns.
