The Hippo's Rugby Club from the town of Dvokolwako proved too strong for everyone on Saturday when they walked away victors in the second Maganu 7's Rugby Tournament played at the Kwaluseni Sports Ground on Saturday.

SKRUM 7's on Saturday December 1st

..Saturday December 1st will see five local sides battle it out in the SKRUM National 7's Tournament. The tournament will be played at the university sports field in Kwaluseni. The five participating clubs are, The university team the Titan's, Vondo's from Malkerns, Scotianz Kings from SCOT, Hippo's from Dwokolwako and newly formed club the Stallions from Big Bend. The tournament kicks off at 9am.

Vondo's take first Inyeti 7's in 2012

The Vondo's Rugby Club from Malkerns lifted the winners trophy for the Inyeti 7's on Friday night. Tough opposition from the other three rugby clubs playing in this the first Inyeti for 2012 saw the Vondo's fight for every try. Surprise club on the night were the Hippo's from Dvokolwako who ran riot and shocked everyone.
