The Swaziland Rugby Union will be holding a 'Youth Rugby Coaching Workshop' on Friday May 27th at the Manzini Club in Manzini. Rugby Union Head Development Coach, Naomi du Pont made the announcement today at the Rugby Union's offices.

Following on from the success and interest from the Teacher/Coaches Rugby Workshop held two weeks ago in Manzini, the development coaches decided to hold a second workshop.

Head development coach Naomi du Pont thanked the teachers for taking their time to attend the workshop and learn more about the game of rugby.

This was after the Rugby Coaching Day held at the Correctional Services headquarters in Matsapha. To help kick start the Correctional Services 2011 rugby season the development coaches donated six rugby balls.

Correctional Services recruits going through their paces during the Rugby Coaching DayThe Correctional Services headquarters situated in Matsapha played host to the rugby development coaches yesterday when they held a Rugby Coaching Day for the Correctional Services new recruits. Assistant Superindendant Jabulani Kunene welcomed the coaches to the Correctional Services headquarters and thanked them for taking the time to introduce the game of rugby to the new recruits.

The Likima Community invited the development coaches back for a second Community Coaching Session on New Years Eve. Following on from the success of the coaching session on the 17th of December, the Likima Community Sports Leader Sizakele Maseko asked the development coaches back for a second session and the final rugby coaching session of 2010.

29th December and the development coaches are in the Ngwazini Community. This is the third community to play host to a Community Rugby Coaching Day and all the participants were willing and eager to learn more about the game of rugby.
