Some of the players from LobambaThe Rugby Roadshow arrived in Lobamba at the OlympAfrica Sorts Centre for Day 16.  Having held three Coaching Days down in and around the town of Nhlangano in the south of the country, the Roadshow made the drive up to Lobamba in the centre for the penultimate day of the 2009/2010 New Year Rugby Roadshow.

Naomi and Malindi with some of the players from Makonza near NhlanganoIt's Day 12 of the New Year Rugby Roadshow and we have moved down south to the town of Nhlangano.  Today's venue is the sports field at Makonza Primay school 12kms outside of Nhlangano.  41 eager participants turned out to learn more and play the marvellous game of Rugby.

The ladies showing the way it's done.It's Day 7 of the Rugby Roadshow and the coaches left Bhekinkhosi yesterday and made the short drive to Ngwazini where they will be holding Coaching Sessions today and tomorrow.

The town of Piggs Peak in the north of Swaziland played host to the first day of the SKRUM/Swaziland Rugby Roadshow.  The Roadshow which will be held in nine venue's over the next seventeen days was the brain child of new Rugby Coach, Naomi du Pont.  "Naomi who will be joining the Rugby Coaching Team in the New Year came to me with the Rugby Roadshow proposal and it seemed too good to be true" said Rugby Union President and SKRUM Programme CEO, Michael Collinson.

Naomi with some her SOSIRBKitaid kitThe Swaziland Rugby Union handed over Rugby kit to coach Naomi du Pont today at the Rugby Union's offices in Malkerns.  Naomi works as a part time coach for the Rugby Union coaching youngsters from schools in and around Malkerns home of the Vondo's Rugby Club.

Break the tackle and passThe Elephants Rugby Club held a "Introducing Rugby Coaching Day" at the Emcozini Sports field just outside Luve.  Young players from schools in the area were invited to attend the coaching day and be introduced to the game of Rugby.

Richard at Ngwane Central HighRugby volunteer, Richard Collinson today bid a fond goodbye to Swaziland and the Swaziland RUgby after his three week stay in the country helping with the SKRUM Programme and the Rugby Development Programme.  Richard worked hand in hand with the Rugby Development Coaches during his visit.

Malindi with the teachers from Ezulwini and LobambaFive teachers braved the torrential rain to attend the Teacher/Coaches Workshop held in Malkerns. The workshop was for teachers from schools in and around Lobamba and Ezulwini.

The six teachers from schools in and around MbabaneEven the very wet conditions didn't stop six teachers from turning out to attend the Teacher/Coaches Workshop held in the capital, Mbabane at the Prince of Wales Sports ground.  The teachers were invited from schools in and around the City of Mbabane.

The teachers in NhlanganoThe town of Nhlangano in the south of Swaziland played host on Friday to the Rugby Union's Teacher/Coaches Workshop.  The workshop was held at the SOS Childrens village.
