.Preparations for the up and coming CAR tournament to be held in Rwanda have begun. Players were called to national training last weekend. The training sessions will be held at the Kwaluseni Campus sports ground. The CAR tournament kicks off on June 1st with four countries participating, Burundi, Rwanda, Swaziland and Tanzania.

The Hippo's on the attack against the Titan'sFour clubs attended the March 'Maganu 7's Rugby Tournament held at the Kwaluseni Sports Ground. The Hippo's proved too strong on the day and were the deserved winners.

.The IRB Referee's Trainer, Burton Hufkie made the journey from Durban to Swaziland to hold a IRB Level I Referee's Course. Four potential referee's were invited to attend the course.

.The Swaziland Rugby Union in partnership with the Ngwane Group launched the TOP 16's U/19's Inter Schools 7's Rugby Tournament at the Ngwane Milling offices in Matsapha.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Thursday February 14th the Swaziland Rugby Union will be holding a IRB Level I Referee's Course in Manzini. Eight candidates have been invited to participate in this the first of two IRB Level I Referee's courses planned for 2013. IRB Referee's Trainer, Burton Hufkie will be facilitating the course which will be held over three days.

Ncabaneni on the attack against Holy Rosary in the final of the Mankayane Inter Schools Rugby TournamentSaturday saw four schools from in and around the town of Mankayane participate in the Mankayane Inter Schools Rugby Tournament played at the sports ground in Mankayane.

The Swaziland Rugby Union have received an invitation to participate in the 2013 CAR Africa Cup Division II East rugby tournament to be played in Rwanda in June. Four countries have been invited to play in the tournament, host Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania and Swaziland. "We are delighted to have received the invitation to play in the CAR tournament and to be back playing international rugby" said SRU president, Michael Collinson.

Coaches from the Tier II & III Rugby Clubs who attended the Coaching WorkshopThe Swaziland Rugby Union held a Coaches Workshop for coaches from the Tier II & III Rigby Clubs within Swaziland.The workshop was held at the Manzini Club. Thirteen coaches attended the workshop.
