The Swaziland Rugby Union were informed today that the Vultures the Botswana national side would not be travelling to Swaziland to play the return leg of the two Test Match series. The Botswana Rugby Union gave the ongoing truck drivers strike in South Africa and the fear for the safety of their players as the reason for cancelling the game. BRU President, Bob Lekan has assured the SRU that the return test Match will be played in 2012 at a later date.

The coaches made the short drive to Luve this afternoon to assist the Elephants coach with a club coaching session. SRU coach, Malindi Dlamini said "We are assisting all the club coaches with coaching sessions to get them ready for the up and coming league. We will be moving from club to club over the next few weeks to assist the coaches and players in areas they feel they need assistance"

"Schools Rugby has taken off within the Kingdom with over four hundred and fifty schools being introduced to the game in the last four years. Director of Coaching, Malindi Dlamini confirmed today that SARU have agreed to make available a referee and two referee assistance for the October 6th Test Match to be played against Botswana at the Mavuso Sports Centre. "Rugby Union President, Michael Collinson has been in contact with Andre Watson head of match officials at SARU and requested assistance from SARU. We all want the October 6th Test Match to be a huge success, with this in mind, Collinson thought it was best for all concerned...
